Dressed Up

One fashion era that I particularly like is the 1960's, whether it be formal or casual. I love the boldness and elegance about it all as well as the eye popping colours, patterns and shapes. I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I had fun creating it.
Thanks for stopping by:)

Arthur

Here's a design of a teenager I created. I had a lot of fun designing and painting this character, especially when painting little details in the hair and adding the stitch to the jeans. As you may tell from the title of this post, his name is Arthur. It was between that or Clark. In the end my wife and I both picked Arthur.
Hope you enjoy it:)

Office Manager

Here is a design of an office manager I created. In creating this piece, I wanted to experiment with the design/texture of his vest. I think the hard straight lines contrast and compliment the roundness of his body. I'm pleased with how the vest turned out. Hope you enjoy it too:)

Ballerina

There is something graceful and elegant about how ballerinas move and control their body and balance; which lends itself so wonderfully to animation. Here's a painting I did of a ballerina, trying to keep in mind all of the above.
